Royal Caribbean Extends Haiti Service Pause

Royal Caribbean GoCompareCruise Editorial Nov 1, 2026

Royal Caribbean has formally extended its suspension of port calls to its private destination in Labadee, Haiti, through April 2028.

Due to ongoing regional considerations, Royal Caribbean has updated its itinerary schedules to exclude Labadee for all sailings through the spring of 2028. This move affects approximately 44 previously scheduled voyages. The cruise line is currently working to substitute these stops with alternative destinations to maintain the quality of their Caribbean itineraries. This long-term adjustment allows travelers and travel agents to plan with certainty while the line manages its private port portfolio.
