MSC Poesia Cancels Sailing Due to Regulatory Matter

MSC Cruises canceled a scheduled 11-day Caribbean cruise from PortMiami after a regulatory issue arose with the U.S. Coast Guard.

MSC Cruises informed passengers that the scheduled cruise on MSC Poesia to the Caribbean had been canceled due to a regulatory matter that required resolution. The U.S. Coast Guard had launched an inspection of the vessel while it was docked at PortMiami. The cruise line stated that it was unable to resolve the matter in time for the sailing to proceed. The ship had previously undergone an extensive renovation in the spring of 2026 to prepare for its premier season in South Florida.
