MSC Cruises cancelled an 11-night Caribbean sailing aboard the MSC Poesia after a regulatory issue involving the U.S. Coast Guard could not be resolved in time for departure.
The MSC Poesia was forced to cancel its scheduled 11-night Southern Caribbean cruise from PortMiami after a regulatory matter arose during a U.S. Coast Guard inspection. Passengers had already spent two nights onboard before being notified of the cancellation. MSC Cruises is providing a full refund of the cruise fare and prepaid packages, along with a 100 percent Future Cruise Credit. The cruise line stated it is cooperating fully with authorities to resolve the underlying issues.
