Celebrity Cruises Reveals Inaugural Deployment for Celebrity Xcite

Celebrity Cruises has officially opened reservations for the inaugural sailings of its sixth Edge Series ship, Celebrity Xcite, scheduled to debut in 2028. The vessel will focus on the Caribbean market, offering seven-night voyages departing from Miami to various sought-after island destinations. While a specific launch date remains unconfirmed, the ship is expected to begin its maiden season in late November 2028. This addition strengthens Celebrity's presence in the region, which already features the most Edge Series ships in its fleet. Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises, noted that the Caribbean remains a favorite for guests, and the new ship will provide fresh ways to experience the region. The deployment is part of a broader strategy to expand offerings across four Florida ports throughout 2028 and 2029.
