Stingray City is Grand Cayman's signature experience: a waist-deep sandbar in the middle of impossibly clear North Sound water, where southern stingrays gather in their dozens. Your boat anchors right on the shallow bar and the rays glide around your legs — gentle, curious and surprisingly soft to the touch.
Crew hand out squid for feeding (if you dare), snap photos of you holding a ray, and the trip usually pairs the sandbar with a snorkel stop on the barrier reef. It is one of the Caribbean's most photogenic mornings, and a short tender from the cruise anchorage.
